Dear Grant Administrators,
The Federal Demonstration Partnership (“FDP” – which you will probably recognize from the well-known FDP Subaward Agreement forms we use regularly) has been piloting what is referred to as the FDP Expanded Clearinghouse for about a year and a half now. The purpose of the pilot was to test the efficacy and efficiency of using online organization Profiles in lieu of subrecipient commitment forms to obtain information needed by pass-through entities when they are issuing subawards or monitoring their subrecipient entities. Pilot participants have found that using the organization profiles has succeeded in minimizing administrative burden. Because of this success, the pilot has recently moved to a publicly available website and user system.
What does all of this mean for us?
We no longer need to collect our completed subrecipient commitment form from the entities found on the FDP Expanded Clearinghouse.
Exciting, isn’t it?!?!
A template Letter of Intent is attached here for your convenience and includes all the additional, project-specific information we will need in addition to what is available in the clearinghouse.
If a subrecipient institution prefers to use their own template, the following information must be included:
· Cost share information, if applicable
· Use of Human Subjects, Y/N
· Use of Vertebrate Animals, Y/N
· Authorized Official signature
· A Statement of Work, Budget, and Budget Justification included as attachments
We will continue to require our completed subrecipient commitment form for any entity not listed on the FDP Expanded Clearinghouse.
When do we get to be on the FDP Expanded Clearinghouse?!?!
The clearinghouse will be open to non-pilot members this Fall and at that time we will be listed. We will send out another communication once that has happened
