I am very excited to officially announce our university subscription to the ProQuest Pivot database.
Pivot is an invaluable search tool to help our faculty, staff members, and students find funding opportunities and potential collaborators for research and scholarly endeavors. The Pivot database will enable you to search more than $44 billion in funding opportunities from federal, non-federal, foundation, corporate and other private sponsors across a wide variety of disciplines. Pivot users can create a profile to set up customized searches and receive email alerts about new opportunities that match their search criteria.
Pivot can also connect you other researchers on campus and outside the University by searching databases of researcher profiles from campus and from external institutions.
Please visit our URA Pivot Page for additional information – just follow the instructions listed to login immediately using your UChicago credentials (CNetID / UCHADID) and university email address.
Please also click through the link below to sign-up for the introductory session for campus users, later this month. A representative from Pivot (Kristin Culp) will lead the session and address any questions.

By the end of the session you will know how to create and save basic searches, help guide faculty members in the creation of their own profiles/accounts, and know where to go for additional information (Pivot Guides/Resources/Videos).
