AURA grants system upgrade

Dear grant administrators,

This message is to inform you of the upcoming AURA Grants system upgrade that will launch on April 15th.  The system upgrade is necessary because the existing software has aged to a point where the vendor will no longer continue to support the current version. With this upgrade comes many benefits. For example, it will allow the University to have better reporting capabilities for sponsored proposals and awards, more robust metrics reports, and increase visibility into award and subaward workflows.

URA has created an AURA Grants upgrade landing page on the AURA website, which can be accessed here.  On this page, you will find information on the project overview, timeline, training opportunities, resource materials, and a list of frequently asked questions.

Training for the new system will take place beginning in late March through the system go-live in April. Training will be scheduled by department and departments should expect to receive an email in the coming days providing dates and opportunities to register for these training sessions.  Additional information will be provided at the March Research Administration Hot Topics session, scheduled for Monday, March 18 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM in KCBD 1103.
