NSF PAPPG Updates and Webinar

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has announced that the revised NSF PAPP Guide (NSF 20-1) will be effective for proposals submitted or due, and awards made, on or after June 1, 2020. While this version of the PAPP Guide becomes effective on June 1, 2020, in the interim, the guidelines contained in the current PAPP Guide (19-1) continue to apply. Additional information can be found at: https://www.nsf.gov/bfa/dias/policy/. Please note: a PDF version of the PAPPG will be available in the near future.

Significant changes include:

  • NSF will require use of an NSF-approved format in submission of the biographical sketch and current and pending support documents, once the PAPPG (NSF 20-1) becomes effective;
  • New requirement for providing e-mail documentation of Program Officer approval for the submission of RAPID and EAGER proposals; and
  • Clarifications to current and pending support coverage as well as other changes throughout the document.

NSF will hold a webinar covering the revisions, and URA will be offering an opportunity to view the webinar live. This webinar will provide an overview of significant changes and clarifications to the PAPPG that will be effective for proposals submitted or due, and awards made, on or after June 1, 2020.

The webinar will be aired on:
Thursday, February 6th
Time: 1:00-2:00pm CST
Place: 6054 South Drexel Ave., Room 144

Please feel free to reach out to URA with any questions.
