Training - AURA Grants Courses

URA is providing AURA Grants e-learning training courses via Canvas. The live, instructor-led AURA Grants trainings have been condensed into three 10 – 30 minute self-paced learning videos. Completion of these courses will be required for new department staff utilizing AURA Grants, prior to receiving access to the system. The courses can also be used as a resource for existing departmental staff with current access to AURA.

The courses currently available are:

  1. AURA Grants Introduction- overview of the system interface, roles, and activities
  2. AURA Grants Pre-Award- overview of Pre-Award activities including creating a Funding Proposal, Budgets, SF424 Applications, and JIT Requests
  3. AURA Grants Post-Award- overview of Post Award activities including Ancillary Reviews, Account Setup, Deliverables, Subaward Agreements, and Award Modifications

To enroll yourself or other individuals in the courses, contact aura-help@uchicago.edu. Once all 3 modules have been completed, the user can be assigned the appropriate access role in AURA Grants.
