It is with mixed emotions that I must announce that Ish will be leaving the University of Chicago. His last day will be March 1. Ish has accepted a position with Huron Consulting here in Chicago to help lead a fairly new business service Huron now offers in negotiating research contracts for their clients. It has certainly been my pleasure to work with Ish and I will miss his negotiating skill and leadership very much.
We will begin immediately to search for his replacement. There will be some re-assignment of duties within the Contracting Team during this transition period and these can be found at http://ura.uchicago.edu/page/contacts-department-0.
I’m sure there will be opportunities to celebrate the 6.5 years Ish has spent at UChicago before he leaves. Please join me in congratulating him on his new position and wishing him the best for the future.
