NIH will require electronic submission for all P01, P20, P50 and U19 applications intended for due dates on or after September 25, 2013. Additional NIH grant programs will transition to electronic submission per the established timeline. Applicants must use the new ASSIST (Application Submission System & Interface for Submission Tracking) system to prepare and submit their multi-project applications.

NOTE: NIH released a communication (NOT-OD-15-098) on April 30th, 2015 regarding the use of ASSIST for additional grant applications. All NIH applications submitted by the University of Chicago should continue to utilize the system-to-system (S2S) capability of AURA, unless there is a specific requirement to use ASSIST in the application guidelines. Please keep in mind that AURA is our system of record for grants and all proposal data must be re-entered in AURA if another submission method is used.
