Effective July 6, 2016, the University has implemented a new policy regarding the use of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drones).
The policy provides, among other things, that drones may only be used on University property with prior written permission from the Department of Safety & Security; that drone use off University property will not be permitted to create a hazard to University property; and that drone use must comply with all applicable laws and may not disrupt University operations or disturb the environment of people in the vicinity.
